The latest SMM survey data shows that as of May 21, the operating rates of 50 electric furnace steel mills nationwide that mainly produce building materials have reached 0.wheeloffortunepuzzleboard.78 percentage points decline, currently 40.48%. The capacity utilization rate achieved a slight increase of 0.58 percentage points, reaching 41.39%.

At the same time, the average daily output of building materials increased by 1,300 tons month-on-month to 92,200 tons. This change reflects that electric furnace steel mills are facing profit bottlenecks and may be difficult to achieve effective improvement in the short term.
