[Data disclosed by the General Administration of Customs shows that sugar imports fell in April], China imported 50,000 tons of sugar in April 2024, a year-on-year decrease from last yearcobiafish20,000 tons. From January to April this year, the cumulative import volume of sugar reached 1.25 million tons, an increase of 230,000 tons year-on-year. At the end of the 2023/24 crushing season, at the end of April, the cumulative import volume was 3.11 million tons, an increase of 320,000 tons year-on-year.
